I bought 6 boxes of this bulk 9mm luger ammo and so far shot 1 bullet. I shot it through several phone books. With other brands the jacket on a full metal jacket bullet, flattens out and breaks apart exposing the lead, which decreases the penetration of the bullet. However the PMC bullet, true to its word has a strong metal jacket and it wasn't broken apart. Should the need ever arise to shoot dangerous game (a bear or wild cat) in self defense, I will feel more secure using this bullet as I shoot it in the face, knowing that it will have greater penetration and lethality. |
