| When I turned 21 I decided that I was going to buy a handgun. I began to do alot of camping and wanted something that would be reliable and enjoyable to shoot. I started to do as much research as I could. To make a long story short, I decided on the Glock model G19. I wanted to fire it as much as possible and try to become proficient with it, so I wanted something that wouldn't break the bank. I have owned this gun for roughly eight years now and have fired approximately 7,000 to 8,000 rounds through it and love it as much as when I purchased it. I have only had several minor malfunctions. But, I believe that they were operator induced. The only thing that I have added is Trijicon night sights and an extended slide release lever. I currently have owned several other Glocks and like them all, but the G19 is still my favorite. What a great gun. Shoot safe and research what ever you decide on. Don't buy into the "My buddy said so," nonsense. | ||||
